Through our festivals and partnerships with established cultural organisations, we create platforms for artists from diverse and underrepresented backgrounds to present work, connect with audiences, and build sustainable creative practices.

Beyond presentation, we support artists through peer mentoring, skill-sharing, and practical guidance, including workshop development and application support. This approach strengthens not only individual artists, but the wider ecosystem, fostering a collaborative network where artists and audiences actively support one another.

Our work is shaped by ongoing engagement with artists and communities, who consistently highlight barriers including lack of access to space, limited visibility, and fragmentation within the sector. Rather Gather addresses these challenges by building meaningful collaborations that increase reach, share resources, and create more inclusive and connected cultural environments.
